Is this right for me?
You may have encountered obstacles in life that prompt curiosity about your wiring. This might be your first step towards seeking a diagnostic assessment – or perhaps you aren’t keen or ready to pursue a diagnosis. Waiting times and/or the cost of a formal assessment may also be a deterrent.
Whichever it is, this service enables you to understand yourself better and feel better equipped to move forwards.
Our intention is for you to learn more about you:
Uniquely You
Gain a clearer picture of your own unique ‘spiky profile’.
Develop Insights
Develop insights into how elements of your wiring may contribute to certain experiences.
Tools & Strategies
Explore strategies and tools to benefit you in work, study or in day-to-day life.
Adjustments
Build a toolkit of ‘adjustments’ that you may wish to request at work or in education.

What our clients’ say
It was very impactful and useful to have my neurodiversity laid out so clearly in charts and diagrams, and to feel myself being explained and understood in a safe space. I am grateful to you for the way you delivered the information and helped me grasp the significance and implications of it for me and my life.
The final report has allowed me to visualise my neurodivergent traits. Being able to talk about my difficulties to a supportive person, to understand the differences across different neurodivergent needs, and having a profile from a professional has given me the courage to go back to seeking NHS help.
This experience made me feel listened to. For years, I had thought my problems were due to moderate dyslexia and I have seen my neurodivergent traits as failures of character.
I felt affirmed by our meeting and have a sense of my authentic self stepping out of the shadows, where for too long I have been lurking in self doubt and confusion with a debilitating sense of failure and ‘wrongness’. I feel more hopeful about being able to live authentically from now on, and achieve my potential.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Neurodiversity Profile Mapping tool give me a diagnosis?
Why can't I go directly to DoIT to complete the profile screening?
The scope of the reports that licensed providers such as WayMakers offer is more in-depth. They also include features not available to those purchasing an individual license directly.
WayMakers also develop things one step further:
During our meeting with you, we unpack all the DoIT findings and present these in a very visual format. With you, we create tailored, actionable support strategies to address your individual challenges.
This brings together your understanding of your profile with the practical steps that answer your “what now” questions.
Please contact us at ask@waymakers.co.uk if you would like to explore our profiling service.
Is there funding to help me pay for the Profile Mapping service?
Not currently. However, we hope to secure funding in 2024 to subsidise the cost and make it more accessible to all.
